I’m sure many of you have already seen my news on social media, but if not… you might be wonder what’s going on. I’m here to give you a quick update.
This week, I realised that I was heading for burnout at break-neck speed. As you know, I’m a one-woman band. I do all my own covers, blurbs and marketing as well as writing the books. It’s the best job in the world, but I’ve released 44 books over the past 5 years… and suddenly, I just ran out of juice!
What does this mean? I need a break from deadlines!
I have now cancelled all my outstanding preorders, and this includes this week’s release of Warm and Toasty in Seabury. I’m so sorry to disappoint you. You don’t need to do anything, Amazon handles the cancellation process, and you’ll probably get / have already got an email about it.
I truly hate to let you down, but I have to prioritise some down-time for myself so that I can bring you more books in 2026! Rest assured – I am well… I just need a bit of rest!
The good news: I’ve got some exciting books lined up for next year. The big difference is, I’m going to have a year without preorders. The books will be with you the minute they’re ready.
